A second procedure may be necessary after incorrect rhinoplasty or when undesirable results are achieved. Patients seeking a better appearance may undergo a nasal revision procedure.

How is the Procedure Performed?
The process leading to a nasal revision procedure, and therefore the treatment method, can be divided into two categories. First, the revision is completed with simple interventions such as a slight protrusion of the nasal dorsum or minor changes to the angle of the nasal tip. Second, more extensive procedures that require tissue such as ribs and cartilage to correct more complex issues are performed.

It’s important not to rush into a revision rhinoplasty after the initial rhinoplasty. It’s best to wait approximately six months to a year for the nose to become more easily perceptible.
